On 17 December 2008 the Cabinet of Ministry of Ukraine (hereinafter CMU) adopted the Resolution on Adoption of Action Plan in Agricultural Sector to Prevent Negative Consequences Caused by Global Financial Crisis No. 1565-p. The Resolution envisages to instruct National Bank of Ukraine, Ministries and other government agencies on urgent measures required to prevent financial crisis consequences. On 16 December 2008 the Draft Law on Peculiarities of Banks’ Reorganisation in Year 2009 (hereinafter – the Draft Law) was registered in the Parliament with No. 3485 . As underlined by the authors of the Draft, it is invoked to reduce influence of financial hardship on banking sector. On 23 December the EBA participated in the public discussions on Ukraine’s competitiveness in the context of crisis. At the event Deputy Minister of Economy Iryna Kriuchkova presented the Draft State Development Programme envisages anti-crisis and post-crisis measures for the Ukrainian economy development for the period till 2012. On 17 December 2008 the Parliament of Ukraine in the first reading adopted as a basis the Draft Law On Amendments to Law of Ukraine On Advertising No.3081. This Draft Law introduces a limitation on advertising and teleshopping for medical drugs and medical devices as well as treatment methods.
