It is now cheaper and more convenient to change the departure date in SkyUp Airlines tickets: new options for Standard and Flex fares
From November 22 all SkyUp passengers who purchase tickets at Standard and Flex fares, changing the date of travel becomes cheaper and more convenient. Special button Change departure date is available in the personal account of the passenger at skyup.aero website.
Being able to change your plans flexibly is a good way to make the journey comfortable. Especially when in our new reality, when the requirements for crossing borders change spontaneously. This flexible option can be a kind of insurance against sudden restrictions and save vacation or business plans.
Conditions for changing the departure date in Standard or Flex fares
The option is available only in Standard and Flex fares. In both fares, you can change the date before departure only in the same direction and no later than 12 hours before the flight. And also now in the Flex fare you can change the date after departure.
Standard fare conditions
Changing the departure date will cost $23*, while new tickets can be selected only at the Standard fare. If the price of a new ticket is higher, passengers pays a surcharge.
Also, the Standard tariff includes a 10% discount on additional carrier services, transportation of 2 pieces of hand luggage and baggage, online check-in 15 days before departure, and free choice of seats from 5 rows to the end of the cabin, except for rows at emergency exits.
Flex fare conditions
Changing the departure date free of charge is allowed three times for one flight. Starting with the fourth application, it will cost $50*, and new tickets can be selected only at the Flex fare. When the price of a new ticket is higher, passengers pay a surcharge.
You can also now change the departure date in case of a no-show. This option costs $38*, and you must contact the airline’s contact center no later than 48 hours after the departure of the original flight.
Flex fare includes a discount of 20% on additional services of the carrier, transportation of 2 units of hand luggage and a piece of baggage, online check-in 30 days before departure or free registration at the airport, free choice of any place.

How to use the Change departure date button
To use this option, you need to log in to your personal account at skyup.aero. Those who use the website for the first time, need to register. Then, in the personal account from the list of your active bookings, you need to select the desired one and click Book Management.
Change departure date button will appear on the top or the booking page. But only if in the selected reservation at least one of the tickets is purchased at Standard or Flex fares.
After activating the button, a chatbot will start, which will help you change the date and make a payment for updating the reservation, if required by the terms of the tariff.
If tickets are purchased through the agency network, you need to contact the point of sale to change the date: an option for convenient change of departure date has been added to the agency’s office as well.
