Research of natural, man-made factors and cause-and-effect relationships is the main task of stage 1.2 of the environmental monitoring Recently representatives of PJSC Ukrnafta, Boryslav City Council and Lamor Ukraine LLC, which is the general contractor, summed up stage 1.1 of environmental monitoring on the territory of Boryslav oil field (Boryslav, Lviv region). And now the next stage has been completed - stage 1.2, which involved the study and description of environmental factors of natural and man-made origin, as well as the relationship between them and the current situation in the city. At stage 1.2, the work lasted several months, based on the results of a preliminary assessment of the state of soil, air and water in the field (Boryslav, Lviv region). Studies conducted under Stage 1.2 were dedicated to identifying and describing natural and man-made components of the current ecological state of Boryslav, establishing a link between them and the current natural and man-made situation, assessing the risks of potential environmental impacts of long-term oil and ozokerite production. https://youtu.be/c5ZPWLdaJ5Q One of the unique achievements of Lamor Ukraine LLC, within this part of the project, was the construction of new cartographic materials of the city, reflecting the state of man-made load, environmental situation, landscape-functional zoning, environmental hazards, environmental risks. The obtained data provide an opportunity to get ready for the implementation of the third and most important stage - risk assessment of the potential impact of environmental factors (air pollution) on the social environment and the formation of an action program to eliminate the consequences of long-term oil production. The action plan is what the city of Boryslav needs both to take local measures to restore the regions ecosystem, health and well-being, effective economic activity, and to attract and attract national and international support.
