Volnogorsk elevator of G.R. Agro has completed 2 full turnovers per season!

In the current season, the elevators of the G.R. Agro increased the rate of harvesting and storage volumes of grain by attracting more than 400 agricultural enterprises - donors of the regions of Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions to the program “Free storage for agricultural producers”. To date, the companys Volnogorsk elevator has received 61,000 thousand tons of grain and oilseeds. Which corresponds to the 2nd revolutions in the season. For grain crops, 45% of early and 55% of late grain crops were harvested in the total volume. Similarly, last year, at the moment, the elevator has received 45,000 tons of grain. This program certainly attracted new customers to the companys elevators and provoked not only an increase in the rate of procurement, but also the problem of a lack of the necessary area of containers to accommodate the volume of goods of all interested commodity producers. Thus, the companys management is already thinking about expanding the area in the next season and optimizing the infrastructure at the elevators. Pre-design work is underway on the reconstruction of the existing enterprises of the network and the selection of appropriate types of warehouses for storing goods. The companys long-term strategy for increasing volumes and areas of one-time storage also includes the acquisition of new elevators and grain storage facilities in strategically important regions of Ukraine.
