EBA Odesa Brainstorm on GreenDuck Cup

Creativity and innovation are the main sources of long and global success in the modern world. When you are faced with rapidly changing trends, intense competition and the requiment to work productively despite a tight budget - you need to use lateral thinking. So, our first session of a series workshops was about creative techniques, that is why EBA Odesa Brainstorm was organized with the member company 4Press and its business intelligence project GreenDuck. Moderators Kateryna Vershinina and Andrii Salamatov destroyed the myth that the creative person should be born and told in more details how this skill can be learned and developed. Indeed, lateral thinking as a way of forcing the brain to produce many ideas in a short period of time, moving away from the old fixed stereotypes. Here, the main task is to come not as much to the right, as to an effective solution to the problems, to get rid of models-cliches, to rebuild standard schemes. The participants worked in the groups on creative solutions to real business problems, looking for hidden reserves and non-obvious solutions in any area of business, conduct brainstorms with maximum effectiveness and at the same time tried not to hate each other during such intense interaction.
