EBA member companies discussed 2025 plans with the State Agency on Energy Efficiency

  The European Business Association held a meeting with Mariia Mala, First Deputy Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine. The dialogue focused on key issues related to the implementation of energy efficiency policies in Ukraine. During the meeting, the following topics were discussed: The State Agency’s plans for 2025; Preparation of new technical regulations on energy labeling and ecodesign; The need to adopt a framework regulation on energy labeling; The importance of interagency coordination for proper application of technical regulations; Practical aspects of implementing EU-style energy labels starting in October 2025; The possibility of early preparation of declarations of conformity and creation of QR codes for products intended solely for the Ukrainian market. The EBA expresses its gratitude to the State Agency on Energy Efficiency for its openness to dialogue and looks forward to continued effective cooperation in the development of energy efficiency legislation.
