  It has been the 9th week of the war. At the same time, gas and energy companies continue to work harder and repair damage where it occurs. Therefore, we share below what was done by the energy companies during the week of April 18-24. Oil and gas sector The past week was one of the most difficult for the Donetsk gas transmission network. During the week, employees of Donetskkoblgaz JSC were forced to disconnect eight settlements, 2,783 private houses, and 6,997 apartments from gas due to damaged networks. At the same time, gas supply was restored for 1,007 private houses and 1,532 apartments. The gas pipeline to one company was cut off. Specialists of JSC Donetskoblgaz repair damage when they have the slightest opportunity to do so. Also, the gas control units are being switched to summer mode. During the week, the use of natural gas by consumers of Naftogaz Trading LLC fluctuated and in the end reached about the same level as last week – up to 37 million cubic meters. All digital services of Naftogaz Ukraine are fully accessible. The contact center accepts calls from household customers from all over Ukraine around the clock. Almost 9,000 calls were processed during the week. Despite the air alarms during the week, Novorozdil and Novoyavorivsk CHPs (Lviv region) are operating normally. The heating season has ended in Novyi Rozdil, Novoyavorivsk – CHP plants of the two cities have started preparing for the next season 2021/2022. The Novorozdil Electric Grids and the Novoyavorivsk Electric Grids are operating stably. All residents of Novyi Rozdil, Novoyavorivsk and nearby settlements are provided with electricity. Ukrtransgazs underground storage facilities remain under high security and continue to operate normally. JSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya continues to steadily produce gas at all its facilities, except for those near the line of contact. JSC Ukrtransnafta continues to ensure the stable operation of Ukraines oil transportation system. JSC Ukrspetstransgaz operates in a regular mode under martial law. Shebelinsky refinery (Kharkiv region) has not been operating for two months. OJSC Kirovogradgaz operates as usual. Electricity During the week, DTEK Grids emergency crews fully or partially restored light in 78 settlements in the Kyiv region. The light is again available to 34,326 households, hospitals, village councils, schools, and pharmacies in Zahaltsi and Hostomel, a communication center in Makariv district. Moreover, in the settlement of Bucha, Hostomel, Irpin, Nezamozhnykh, Dibrova, Kozyntsi, Mykulychi, and Nemishayeve. The light was partially restored in the village of Rozvazhiv, Vyshhorod district. Since April 3, when the Ukrainian military liberated Kyiv from russian invaders, power engineers have returned light to nearly 60 percent of families left without electricity due to the hostilities. More than 90,000 families in the Kyiv region are now supplied with electricity. 50,000 households in 93 settlements are left without electricity. It is planned to return the light to all residents of the Kyiv region by June 1. Power engineers from all DTEK Grids distribution system operators have rallied to rebuild everything destroyed by the occupiers. In the Kyiv region, DTEK from Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kyiv is helping to rebuild destroyed energy grids. Electricians start work immediately after the demining of these areas by the Ukrainian military and obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to access the sites of damage. First of all, emergency crews are restoring high-voltage 110-35 kV grids that provide electricity to settlements. After that, they repair 10-0.4 kV distribution grids that directly supply residential buildings. Also, the companys specialists process consumer applications in those cities and villages where they have completely returned the light to settlements on 10 kV grids and started repairs in 0.4 kV grids. Natural gas market 223,424 consumers remain without gas supply as of April 25, 2022. Unfortunately, it is now impossible to determine the exact number of disconnected consumers in areas of active hostilities. Compared to April 18, the number of consumers without gas supply decreased by 15%. Since the war, gas supplies to 241,539 consumers have been restored. Gas supply has been restored in 85% of settlements in the Kyiv region. Thus, 94 gas distribution networks were completely restored, in other 7 ones - partially. Gradually gas supply is restored in the city of Bucha, villages of Hostomel, Vorzel and Kotsyubynske. 72,315 households and businesses have already gained access to a stable gas supply as of April 21. Specialists of Chernihivgaz JSC renewed gas supply to 6,000 homes last week. Chernihiv gas workers have replaced a five-meter section of a high-pressure underground gas pipeline destroyed by enemy shelling. The gas pipeline crossing the river, which was damaged during the blasting of the bridge, was also repaired. In the liberated villages, gas workers are repairing street gas pipelines and yard entrances, which have been damaged by air bombings, shelling, and the movement of enemy equipment. RGC Production Since the beginning of April, RGC has installed 12 new gas control units. In the Makariv district of the Kyiv region, the destroyed units were replaced. Thanks to the production of RGCProduction, gas distribution companies are modernizing equipment to improve the security and stability of gas supply. Another six gas control units were installed by JSC Zhytomyrgas, two - JSC Dnipropetrovskgas and JSC Rivnegaz, JSC Zaporizhgaz and Kyivoblgaz.

Thanks to the production of RGCProduction, gas distribution companies are modernizing equipment to improve the security and stability of gas supply. Another six gas control units were installed by JSC “Zhytomyrgas”, two – JSC “Dnipropetrovskgas” and JSC “Rivnegaz”, JSC “Zaporizhgaz” and Kyivoblgaz.
