21/ 02/ 2019
In the modern world new ideas become valuable assets for creating new businesses or improve the way of doing current business. Many companies try to create a positive atmosphere where their employees are able to generate ideas in order to improve business processes. But when an employee has this unique and unbelievable idea it has to solve a very difficult task – make other people-coworkers, Top managers, owners believe in it and commit to its realization. What should everyone remember when getting the Top to listen: Remember that your manager has two main task – EARN or SAVE money so you could build a business case You should start your business case with a logic part (give your manager cost-benefit-risks analysis) You should give them arguments of facts, faith and fear as an emotional part when they are ready to hear you after the logic part Remember that Top managers are poor listeners so give them the answer on how do you add value to the firm with your idea “The BEST ideas lie from WITHIN a companies. The Top needs to listen, the ‘bottom’ needs to make the case!”, finished Leslie Szamozi, MBA Director at The University of Sheffield International Faculty CITY College, a great lecture on how to make the Top to listen. We would like to thank our partners The University of Sheffield International Faculty CITY College and Leopolis Hotel for supporting wonderful ideas!
