Diia.Osvita platform presented two new series. These are dedicated to peculiar features of local tourism project development and ways to improve service standards in the hotel business. The series is designed both for those who already works in the tourism industry and those who still studying.  Local tourism project development may become a driving force for the economic and social growth in regions. This issue is covered in the first series “Ways Tourism Initiatives Change the Community”. It is comprised of seven episodes that feature leading industry experts who share practical tools to design tourism products, attract investment, and create community brands. The speakers include well-known industry experts, namely Mariana Oleskiv, Head of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine, Ihor Marchuk, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Ihor Chava, territory branding expert, representative of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine, as well as Yevhen Klopotenko, restaurateur and chef. The second educational series, “The Art of Hotel Business”, is designed to help learn about service standards in the hotel business. Each of the six episodes is dedicated to important aspects of successful interaction with guests. The educational episodes cover such topics as the efficiency of the reception operations, registration optimization (check-in/check-out), room service, and related services provision. The series will help improve the professional skills of hotel managers, mid-level managers, administrators, maids, and other employees who interact with guests. It will also be useful for teachers and students of vocational educational institutions in the hotel industry. The main speaker of the series is Ilona Remigailo, an expert in the field of hospitality with many years of experience. She shares her recommendations on implementing service standards, innovative approaches to customer service, and increasing hotel business efficiency.  These series are intended to help develop the tourism industry in Ukraine and motivate citizens to start such a business in their settlement or improve the one that is already operating. Educational series are implemented with the support of the EGAP Program, implemented by East European Foundation, and financed by Switzerland, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine for the Diia.Osvita platform.
