Knowledge of the basic principles of financial accounting, the ability to read financial statements and understanding key business performance ratios is the key to the success of making economically sound management decisions. Therefore, today almost every leader is faced with the need to obtain basic knowledge and tools in the field of finance.  EBA Management Development Centre Team invites you to join the Online-Development Programme: Finance for non-financial managers: management decisions in the AI era, updated taking into account todays realities and the development of AI technologies.  Why to choose this program?  Finance without complex accounting terminology - practical logic of understanding reports, budgets and the impact on financial results.  A relevant AI block for a modern manager - understanding how to use artificial intelligence tools. During the training, you will create your own AI assistant.  Ready-made templates, practical materials and work cases that will help you immediately apply knowledge in your company.  Understanding how to influence financial results through management decisions and the team to increase the financial efficiency of the unit and contribute to achieving the companys business goals.  Target audience:  Middle and Top managers of financial or non-financial functions who want to increase the effectiveness of management decisions.   Employees of functional departments, sales, marketing, HR and IT departments who do not have a special education in finance and accounting, but are involved in the preparation of reporting and budgeting.  Format:  Online program.  4 Ukrainian-language classes.  Twice a week, 17:00 - 18:30.  Clear and supported by cases from the experience of an expert, the presentation of the material will allow everyone to understand how to read key financial reports and optimize them. The training will allow you to make optimal decisions on financial management based on reliable, high-quality, complete information about the financial condition of the business and develop models for its development.  Programme Module 1. Financial logic of business and reading reporting — 21.09.2026  The goal of the module: to understand how finances reflect the results of management decisions and how to read key company reports.  Topics:  How the companys strategic goals are related to financial indicators.  The managers main financial reports: P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet. How reports are related to each other. Profit and money: why they are not the same.  Key business performance indicators: gross profit, margin, EBITDA, net profit.  Typical management decisions and their impact on financial results.  Practice: analysis of a real example of a companys financial statements. Lets figure out exactly what VAT is and why the main business performance reports are calculated in prices excluding VAT.  Module 2. Budgeting and financial planning for managers — 23.09.2026  The goal of the module: to learn how to use budgets and financial plans to manage results, not just to control costs.  Topics:  The role of a manager in the budgeting process. How budgets for income, expenses, and cash flow are formed.  Budgeting that works - how to organize the process and optimize budgets.  Cash flow plan as a tool for reducing the risk of a cash gap. Payment calendar.  Sources of savings and closing the cash deficit. Working with receivables. Financial reserves.  Practice: a case study on building and analyzing a departments budget.  Module 3. Management Decisions, KPIs, and Financial DashboardsA. AI Block — 28.09.2026  The goal of the module: learn to control the financial condition of a business through key indicators and management panels. Understand AI assistants in financial management and not only.  Topics:  What financial KPIs should every manager know. Profitability, liquidity, financial stability in simple words.  Break-even point and its use in decision-making.  Managers dashboard: which indicators to monitor regularly.  AI BLOCK. Artificial intelligence for managers:  How to use AI to analyze financial data.  AI assistants and agents - what is the difference and how to effectively apply them to the benefit of business (dispelling myths, without hype on real examples).  Automation of report preparation and visualization of the Dashboard.  Practice: Creating an AI assistant for analyzing indicators.  Module 4. Investment decisions, financial risks and business sustainability — 30.09.2026  The goal of the module: to learn how to evaluate business decisions from the point of view of financial feasibility and risks.  Topics:  Making long-term management decisions. Project business plan: structure, requirements, recommendations for compilation.  Building a financial model of a business project. Understanding the break-even point, financial levers for increasing the marginality and profitability of the project.  Investment efficiency criteria and project cost assessment (PP, IRR, NCF, NPV).  Making decisions about the feasibility of investments and sources of financing for development and scaling.  Financial flexibility of a company in the face of change. Financial risks and how to manage them.  Practice: group work on assessing management decisions in various business scenarios.  Materials that will be provided to participants: presentations of all modules, a dictionary of key financial terms, practical templates of budgets and financial plans, a set of management KPIs for managers in a convenient calculator, a selection of AI recommendations and a ready-made assistant for financial analysis and management decisions.  After successfully completing the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion of the Online Development Program. Speakers.
