  Online Programme on Sustainable Development. Date: 13 September2023. Time: 16:00 18:00. Language: Ukrainian/English. Place: online (zoom). Following the principles of sustainable development is a must-have for a successful business not only today, but also a ticket to profitability in the future. The challenges that companies are facing in their daily activities are related to the environmental and social sphere. Climate change, loss of biodiversity, racial discrimination, gender inequality - these are all risks, the insufficient attention to which can have catastrophic consequences both for each individual company and for the world as a whole. But we know how to turn challenges into opportunities, and we will be happy to share our knowledge with you! EBA Management Development Centre invites you to take part in a brand new Online Program on Sustainable Development. During the program, you will gain basic knowledge about sustainable development in business and accurately distinguish the concepts of Corporate social responsibility, Sustainability, ESG; learn how to build a sustainable development strategy and implement it; learn about the requirements for reporting in the field of sustainable development and its types; form an idea about sustainable investments and their role in the financial sector. Today, many companies are developing ESG strategies to meet the main EU requirements for sustainable reporting and due diligence, which have been adopted or will come into force in 2023. Ukrainian companies also need to prepare for the requirements, which in the future will be extended to companies from countries outside the EU, but which import or are suppliers to EU countries. That is why in this module we will consider the following questions: CSR, sustainable development or ESG strategies: what to choose and why; How to coordinate these strategies with the overall strategy of the company; Basic requirements of EU directives and other stakeholders to your company; Issues E, S and G for your business and management of these issues; Action plan and measurement of the results of ESG strategies; ESG strategy vs non-financial reporting: what is primary. He is simultaneously employed by ESCP Business School, where he runs a course on Sustainable Finance. He is simultaneously employed by ESCP Business School, where he runs a course on Sustainable Finance.

  • Explore the realities of sustainable investing – what is working and where challenges remain
  • Topics to be explored in the session start with “What is sustainable investing?” and then moves through “Data and ESG ratings” to also cover a number of asset classes and commercial considerations
