EBA ESG Hub continues to advance veteran practices: two lectures held in June

  In June, the EBA ESG Hubs Working Group on Veteran Practices and Policies held two lectures dedicated to key aspects of supporting veterans and facilitating their integration into professional and social life. On 16 June, representatives of the Support Service of the 12th Azov Brigade delivered a lecture titled Working with People Who Have Experienced Captivity and Torture. The session explored the psychological and social consequences of captivity, approaches to communication and support for survivors of torture, and practical ways to foster a safe and supportive environment. On 25 June, the Institute of Veterans Architecture of Resilience and the Veterans Cluster of Ukraine delivered a lecture titled The Labour Market for Veterans and Defence Industry Professionals. Opportunities Offered by the Institute of Veterans and the Veterans Cluster of Ukraine. Participants explored current labour market trends for veterans, discussed employment challenges and opportunities, and learned about existing support programmes and practical tools that help veterans successfully transition to civilian careers. Both lectures served as a platform for exchanging experience and practical knowledge, contributing to a more systematic approach to cooperation between the business community and the veteran community. We sincerely thank the speakers for their openness, professionalism, and willingness to share their expertise, as well as all participants for their active engagement and commitment to advancing veteran practices and policies.
