Winter vacation in Sri Lanka: SkyUp opens ticket sales to the south of the island

  In December, SkyUp Airlines will start operating flights from Kyiv to Hambantota, the capital of the southern province of Sri Lanka with many beach resorts, close to Yala, the countrys most visited national park. The first flight is scheduled for 28 December. Sri Lanka is a popular winter destination A tropical island with a picturesque coastline and many interesting places: natural attractions, incredible national parks, tea plantations, and fascinating ancient ruins, is one of the most favorite winter destinations among tourists. The gentle sun of Sri Lanka and the warm sea waters of the Indian Ocean help to reboot and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The weather on the southern coast is dry from November to April with almost no precipitation. The air temperature reaches +28-32°C, the water warms up to +27-29°C. Flight schedule and prices In December, we plan to operate flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from January — also twice a week: on Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets are available at skyup.aero. Rules of entry to Sri Lanka as of 04.10.21 To enter Sri Lanka, citizens of Ukraine should have: all tourists under the age of 12 without exception: negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before boarding the airplane, or negative antigen test taken within 48 hours before boarding the airplane fully vaccinated tourists (provided that 14 days have passed after receiving the final dose of vaccine):international vaccination certificate Unvaccinated children of 12 to 18 years old of fully vaccinated tourists need to have a PCR test upon arrival at the airport or Level 1 Safe and Secure hotel. Until the result is obtained, the child is in quarantine, in case of a negative result to be released from quarantine unvaccinated tourists: PCR testing upon arrival at the airport or Level 1 Safe and Secure hotel and mandatory 14-day self-isolation. On the 12th day of stay in the country, a second PCR test is mandatory; if the result is negative, the quarantine restrictions are lifted For unvaccinated children of 12 to 18 years old of unvaccinated tourists, the same requirements apply as for their parents incompletely vaccinated tourists (without observing the 14-day period after the final dose of vaccine) and their unvaccinated children of 12 to 18 years old: PCR testing upon arrival at the airport or Level 1 Safe and Secure hotel and mandatory 14-day self-isolation. Mandatory PCR test or antigen test on the last day of quarantine tourists who have had Covid-19 in the last 3 months and received one dose of vaccine two weeks after recovery, and their unvaccinated children of 12 to 18 years old: if 14 days have passed after receiving the vaccine and before entry, a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before boarding an aircraft or a negative antigen test taken within 48 hours before boarding an aircraft is needed; without adherence to the 14-day post-vaccination period, mandatory 14-day self-isolation is applied Unvaccinated children of 12 to 18 years old must take a PCR test upon arrival at the airport or Level 1 Safe and Secure hotel.
