For the 1st time in Ukraine: Randstad Employer Brand Research 2019

  19 September 2018. Kyiv. Randstad and ANCOR Holding in Ukraine held a press-briefing dedicated to release of an independent international research Randstad Employer Brand 2019. During its 18 years Randstad Employer Brand Research developed out to 5755 organizations all over the world. The main point of the research and winners Award Ceremony was outlined by Aleksey Mironov, the operations vice president at ANCOR, Iryna Prudnikova, CEO at ANCOR Ukraine, and Madalina Boicu, supervisor of the project at Kantar TNS. The event was moderated by Yuriy Perch, Area Director at ANCOR. The project was initiated by the international Randstad holding, and in Ukraine it will be organized and then presented by ANCOR. As from 2016 the worldwide partner for conducting the research is Kantar TNS. Single technology and approach to the inquiry in all countries allow to unveil corporate, market and countrywise factors. In autumn this year and next years’ winter the project unites over 30 countries, inclusive of but not limited to the USA, Brazil, China, Australia, India, UAE, Malaysia, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Poland, Switzerland, and for the first time – Ukraine! Aleksey Mironov: «The main point of this research is to help companies strive for talented staff. From year to year employer’s reputation becomes more and more important; personnel wants to see the sense and objective for their work, believe in hirer, grow professionally, get involved in a way to build long term plans for the future». In the framework of the research Kantar TNS will collect information sampled by socio-demographic characteristics and reflecting Ukraine’s population of working age. Respondents will answer questions regarding their employment, by filling in online questionnaire, divided by three parts. The first would outline respondent’s portrait: his/her answers on the sex, age, employment status, place of living. The second would allow to understand market trends from the point of candidates’ preferences: this part annually contains question on which factors the respondents consider important while choosing a place of work, and three additional questions  that vary from year to year. The third part is aimed at forming employer attractiveness rate. Madalina Boicu: “In our online questionnaire we would offer our respondents to choose companies they know, and then say whether they would like to work there. Then we offer to evaluate attractiveness of each company they chose by 10 key drivers ». About 200 companies representing different market industries will participate in the Ukrainian study this year. Companies will not apply for participation, the research is free for all participants and fully paid by the organizers - ANCOR and Randstad. Based on the research results in the spring of 2019, the winners will be apprased by Randstad Award. In each country, the answers of at least 7,000 respondents - representatives of the working and non-working population - will determine the winner of the Randstad Award among the largest employers in terms of the number of employees: the company that collects the highest number of points is considered the most attractive for employment. Irina Prudnikova: This research is absolutely transparent, the participating companies in no way can affect the results, since they are not involved in it at any stage. Winners are only invited to the awarding ceremony. There is no jury, and the finalists are determined by respondents, which runs under the supervision of international experts.
