EBA congratulates on the International Clinical Trials Day

20/ 05/ 2022
Dear Colleagues! The Clinical Trials Subcommittee of the European Business Association congratulates on the International Day of Clinical Trials those who are involved in conducting clinical trials in our country and the world, making a significant contribution to the development of innovative medicines! In this year this day falls at a time when a full-scale war is being waged by Russia on the territory of Ukraine. The war destroys our state and takes away the lives of Ukrainians. It affects all spheres of our life. The sphere of clinical trials is no exception. A lot has changed for the CT in the last 3 months. All those who are involved in the clinical trials — investigators and clinical trial sites, sponsors, and CROs, logistics companies, companies involved in the transportation of patients, laboratories, as well as government regulators and institutions, ethics commissions at the hospital — only by cooperating closely, they were able to restructure their work and do everything possible and often impossible to ensure patient safety, data sustainability and reliability, maintain and protect their teams in such an extremely difficult environment. During the war, thanks to the heroic work of our colleagues in Ukraine and abroad, the supply of necessary medicines, examination and treatment of patients, their transfer to other clinical sites in safer areas of Ukraine and abroad continues. Those in the clinical trials industry take part in the armed defense of Ukraine, participate in numerous volunteer and humanitarian initiatives, provide support and work hard. Active work continues to improve and develop the legislation of Ukraine and the conditions for the conducting of clinical trials. We are convinced that if in wartime together we could work and support CT in Ukraine, overcoming many unimaginable challenges, then in peacetime — we will rebuild the sphere here and reach new heights. Thank you all for everything you do every day to protect Ukraine, support clinical trials and ensure patients hope for a healthy life! Thank you for your courage and patriotism! We sincerely wish you to stay safe, have will and endurance and finally a victory! Everything will be Ukraine!

Thank you all for everything you do every day to protect Ukraine, support clinical trials and ensure patients’ hope for a healthy life!

Thank you for your courage and patriotism!

We sincerely wish you to stay safe, have will and endurance and finally a victory!

Everything will be Ukraine!
