Webinar “Expected changes in the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment”

Ukraine has committed itself to harmonizing its legislation on the management of various types of waste in line with EU directives. Thus, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine has already developed a draft Law “On Electrical and Electronic Equipment and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)”, which, once adopted, will affect both business activities and citizens’ habits in the field of WEEE management.

So, during the webinar, we will consider the following issues:

  • entities in the field of WEEE management, their role, key rights and obligations;
  • requirements for putting electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) into circulation;
  • WEEE management requirements and minimum targets;
  • extended responsibility organizations: types, requirements for establishment and registration;
  • reporting in the field of WEEE management;
  • control and liability for violation of legislation in the field of WEEE.
