This role is for a person who will not only implement individual fundraising campaigns, but also build a systematic approach to individual donor acquisition and engagement: identify new channels and audiences, test different acquisition mechanisms, develop regular giving, and create approaches that will enable the organisation to steadily grow its donor base.

  • Develop the individual fundraising area within SOS Children’s Villages, establish a systematic approach to engaging private donors, and contribute to the implementation of the fundraising development strategy.

  • Research the needs, motivations, and behaviour of potential donors and use these insights to improve fundraising propositions and communications.
  • Work closely with colleagues from the Communications and Fundraising Department and external contractors to develop content, advertising materials, and direct communications aimed at acquiring new donors and growing regular giving.
  • Analyse the performance of fundraising channels and campaigns, conduct A/B testing and other experiments, and prepare regular analytics and recommendations for the development of the individual fundraising area.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of donation forms, payment tools, and other digital solutions related to donor acquisition, while keeping up to date with new tools and practices in individual fundraising
  • Adhere to responsible fundraising principles, personal data protection requirements, and ethical communication about children and families.
