A course on Barrier-free Environment has been launched in Ukraine

  There are a set of restrictions existing in Ukraine regarding barrier-free access to infrastructure, transport, employment, education, obtaining public information, the state and business services, etc. Therefore Diia. Digital Education launch a new course to introduce the basic principles of accessibility on the example of everyday life situations. On December 21, 2021, the Ministry of Digital Transformation presented a course Barrier-Free Literacy where you can find out about: what is barrier-free what causes barriers who is affected by barriers why stereotypes and prejudices should be avoided Are Ukrainians ready to overcome barriers? why we as a society need barriers why barrier-free is a common cause Watch this free online course at the link. The European Business Association, which brings together responsible businesses and actively participates in promoting the principles of economic accessibility, advises this course to all companies seeking to build a corporate culture based on diversity and inclusiveness. For reference: The course of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine was created at the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska in partnership with the Advisor – Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Barrier-Free Environment, NGO “Barrier-Free”, NGOs and civil society experts with the support of the UNDP Human Rights for Ukraine Project funded by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
