13/ 08/ 2020
On August 13, 2020 at the 5th video lesson on Transport, Shipping Trade Web Course. In particular, Ukrainian law distinguishes the concept of fraud (taking someone elses property or acquiring the right to property by deception or abuse of trust). Responsibility for this offense is established by Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In turn, the concept of cyber fraud is covered by Part 3 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, according to which fraud committed on a large scale or by illegal transactions using electronic computers and punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to eight years. In any case, no one can be insured against the wrongful acts of criminals. However, a timely reaction can be an effective response. Among the effective methods could be: the opening of criminal proceedings, the analysis of fraudulent schemes, fraudulent inquiries to banking institutions etc. We hope this video-lesson was helpful to you!
