Istanbul for U — from September on SkyUp wings

14/ 09/ 2020
Plus one new destination in the SkyUp Airlines scheduled flights map. From September, we start flying to Turkey three times a week. The first flight will take place on 25 September. Turkey is one of the most favorite tourist destinations among Ukrainians. Last year, 1.5 million of our compatriots spent their holidays and weekends in this country. In the ancient and at the same time modern Istanbul, which has combined the European and Eastern worldviews, there is definitely something interesting and unusual for an inquisitive traveler. In addition, Istanbul is one of the worlds largest transit hubs. Flight programme starts: 25 September 2020. Flights will arrive at the new Istanbul airport. Flight schedule: Kyiv — Istanbul — Kyiv on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Tickets are already available at skyup.aero. What are the entry rules? Turkey allowed Ukrainians to enter from 1 July without PCR testing and self-isolation. According to information from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, traveling to Turkey requires the following documents: passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad or a passport of Ukraine as an ID-card; a health insurance policy that covers the costs of treating Covid-19 in Turkey. It can be purchased online, from a tour operator or at the airport in Turkey. Also, the checkpoint provides for a medical examination for Covid-19. If symptoms are detected during the examination, a PCR test is carried out free of charge. To make your trip as comfortable and safe as possible, please check the current rules for entry and recreation in the chosen direction before leaving and take care of yourself. As a reminder, we also operate regular flights from Kyiv to Tirana, Albania, and from the capital and the regions to Burgas, Bulgaria. Follow the announcements of new destinations and schedule updates on the website and on the airlines pages in social networks.
