Working together for the country: OTP BANK raised over UAH 2.7 million through the “It Matters” campaign

07/ 04/ 2026
During the large-scale charitable campaign “It Matters,” initiated by the Headquarters Fund of the Third Army Corps, OTP BANK JSC raised UAH 2.7 million via the OTP Bank UA mobile application, along with an additional UAH 300 thousand transferred directly to the account. These funds have already been allocated to support defenders of the Third Army Corps. More than 5,000 clients and employees of the Bank took part in the campaign. They competed in the OTP Bank UA app through an online auction for exclusive lots, including a flag from the Third Army Corps, the vinyl record “Prophets, Third Assault Brigade – New Day”, a set of “Kotygoroshko” books with personal messages from defenders, and more. The most intense bidding took place for a Ukrainian flag signed by servicemen of the Third Army Corps: 55 bids were placed, and the flag was ultimately purchased for UAH 105,000. In addition, OTP BANK clients and employees opened 400 auxiliary fundraising initiatives—“Kupy”—within the app, and also contributed through individual donations, for which they could receive a unique themed card design. Those who made charitable transfers at Bank branches were rewarded with branded merchandise from the Headquarters Fund of the Third Army Corps. “OTP BANK was able to quickly raise over UAH 2.7 million thanks to the transparency of our fundraising efforts. We ensure the security of donations within our application, as well as the safety of auxiliary ‘Kupy’ collections, where funds can only be withdrawn to the account of a charitable organization. We provide all the necessary tools for those willing to help. At the same time, we are extremely proud of all donors and grateful for their support of this initiative. This is what truly matters today, and it was a great honor for the entire Bank team to take part in this campaign. For us, this is about a systematic approach to supporting those who help the country endure in these extremely challenging times,” said Lesia Syrota, Team Lead of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine project and Director of Retail Sales and Network Management at OTP BANK. She also noted that this was the sixth charitable online auction held directly within the Bank’s mobile application. “This is a unique opportunity offered by OTP BANK — we not only organize critically important fundraisers but also give our clients a chance to acquire memorable, historic items that capture the spirit of the times. Participants in our online campaigns feel a special connection with those we support; it is a story of collective action for the benefit of the country,” she emphasized. “It Matters” is a social initiative by the Headquarters Fund of the Third Army Corps, aimed at highlighting the importance and value of the efforts of defenders, volunteers, and all citizens who continue to live and work in Ukraine today.
