Corporate social responsibility during martial law

  The first month of the war has passed… And from the first days, Ukrainian business has shown its best side – united and focused on helping the state and the people. Adherence to the principles of sustainable development has been confirmed by the implementation of at least three principles No poverty, Zero hunger, Good health and wellbeing, extended to helping all people during the war. People are the core value of each of the Committee′s members, which is why in these turbulent times of war, companies focus primarily on the health and lives of employees, people from the cities of their business presence, and people who every day defend our country - soldiers of the Armed Forces and Territorial Defense Forced. At the same time, companies whose facilities are in areas of active hostilities take care of their early conservation, which minimizes the potential negative impact on the environment in the event of destruction. This is only part of what companies do that promotes the values of sustainable development and social responsibility, both in peacetime and in pandemics, and during the war. The humanitarian activities of Ukrainian and international companies in Ukraine are an example for the entire corporate world in achieving the goals of sustainable development and commitment to humanitarian values.
