19/ 01/ 2024
On January 18, 2024, the first meeting of the renewed EBA Odesa Coordination Council with the participation of the Committees Chairmen was held. During the meeting business representatives and employees of the EBA Southern Ukrainian office discussed the strategic directions of the Office activities, issues of advocacy, client service, PR visibility, etc., summarizing achievements in these key areas for 2023. Considerable attention was devoted to analyzing the impact of lobbying efforts on business support at both the regional and national levels. Kateryna Morozova, the head of the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office, highlighted successful initiatives and identified new opportunities to improve the business environment. A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to discussing plans for 2024, including the strategic development of committees and hubs. Given the circumstances of the war in Ukraine, the decision was made to focus on the development of hubs, committees, and working groups to facilitate the exchange of ideas, strengthen interaction with European structures, and find new solutions for optimal resource distribution. It is essential to create an atmosphere of collaboration and support to stimulate the initiatives and ideas of the members. We are also pleased to announce that Olexander Lazarev has been elected as the Chairman of the EBA Odesa Coordination Council. We congratulate Mr. Olexander on his stable position, and we are confident that with the renewal of some positions on the Committees, our business community in the region will receive an additional impetus for development and professional growth. Therefore, we continue to direct joint efforts to the stable development of business in the Southern region and strengthening partnership relations with the public and authorities.
