According to the results of open voting at the III International Rail Expo exhibition, which was held in Kyiv, Aurum Group’s new car repair shed, which was built at the Diesel Plant, was recognized as the project of 2019 that has had the greatest impact on the Ukrainian railway industry this year.

In September 2019, the Aurum Group railcar-building enterprise “Diesel Plant”, located near the largest railway freight station of Ukraine Kryvyi Rih-Sortuvalnyi, was entitled to carry out depot and overhaul of gondola cars, box hoppers for grain and cement, platforms, as well as uncoupling repair in the volume of TO-2.

“It is very pleasant that a new car repair shed of our group has received the Ukrainian Rail Award 2019, which is a recognition of the importance and timeliness of the development of private car repair capacities. With the launch of car repair at such a strategic junction point as the city of Kryvyi Rih, we will be able to significantly minimize the period of stay of our customers’ cars under repair and thus increase the efficiency of transportation,” Alona Lebedieva, the founder of Aurum Group, said.

It is worth reminding that now, in addition to car repair, the production capacities of the Diesel Plant allow producing about 200 units of rolling stock per month, namely: gondola cars of models 12-9933 and 12-9933-01, grain carriers of model 19-9945, and also bogies of model 18-1750 type 2.

The enterprise also has the ability to carry out overhaul repairs of cars for enterprises of the mining and metals sector industry, in particular, hopper cars for coal and sinter, rear dump car of type 2BC-105 and BC-60.

The enterprise’s policy in the field of quality management is based on compliance with national and international certification standards for the production and certification of all types of products. The plant has implemented DSTU ISO 9001: 2015 and DSTU ISO 14001: 2015 quality management systems.
