New methodology Resilience Radar allows to evaluate organizational resilience

24/ 06/ 2021
One Philosophy Group of Companies has developed a new methodology for assessing organizational viability -Resilience Radar. The new research tool was introduced during  a virtual Business Resilience Summit. To measure the resilience index and identify potential problem areas in an organization, researchers evaluate six main factors or components: the purpose and principles of the company, innovation management, transformative ability, interaction with society (stakeholders management), customer interaction (brand building and customer experience) and the team. The research involves three stages: in-depth interviews with company executives, employee survey and expert evaluation. This approach uses cross-checks to gain in-depth insights and identify differences in perception of key issues by different groups of employees. “Against the backdrop of the pandemic, the business world is actively talking about Resilience, because owners and managers of companies have felt that there was a very thin line between failure and prosperity. 7 out of 10 companies in the world, according to PwC, plan to increase their investment in building resilience, and resilient companies are more profitable than competitors in the long run, said Natalia Popovych, Founder of One Philosophy. Being prepared for future challenges begins with an honest assessment of the current situation. At One Philosophy, we have developed Resilience Radar to enable businesses not only to see gaps in the viability of the organization today, but also to outline steps to improve it in the future.”  Radar is a device allowing us to see obstacles ahead that are invisible to the naked eye, it helps to avoid them or meet them more prepared. Similarly, Resilience Radar allows companies to see invisible barriers and pave the best path to a long-term goal”, said Yulia Gumeniak, CEO of One Philosophy. The first clients, such as OTP Bank and the network of schools CISC (KMDSH), have already tested the methodology and shared their impressions about the tool. “Resilience research helps companies to make a decision where to invest, and makes this decision much more transparent. We, bankers, love numbers that one can rely on. We are making significant adjustments to our HR strategy based on the insights of the Resilience Radar assessment. They have become the foundation, the rationale for why we should change, which skills and competencies we should develop in our team“, said Volodymyr Mudryy, Head of Board of Directors, OTP Bank Ukraine. If resilience can be measured, then it can be controlled and managed. For us, Resilience Radar study has become a very powerful tool that has helped us understand how well we are able to generate value for our clients - children and families - in the long run”, said Lidia Bilas, Co-founder of СISC network of schools.
