Nestlé launches new production in Volyn

  Nestlé is announcing the opening a new production site in Ukraine. 40 million Swiss francs will be invested in production in Smolyhiv located in Volyn region, in the western part of the country. This step is aimed at increasing the capacity of noodles culinary production in Ukraine. Torchyn factory and Volyn Production Network will become the companys European Regional Hub for Food and Culinary products. The Hub will employ 1,500 people and aim to supply both Ukrainian and all other European markets. Nestlé is the first multinational company that already now announced new investments to take concrete steps to ensure progressive development in Ukraine. Thus, Nestlé continues to expand in Ukraine and therefore supports the growth of the Ukrainian economy and provides incremental jobs. In addition, since the first day of the war, the company has been providing humanitarian aid with the necessary food and drinks for Ukrainians and their pets. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the company has donated more than 4,000 tons of products worth more than UAH 480 million to support Ukrainians both inside the country and in neighboring countries where Ukrainian refugees are located. “I am proud to confirm our commitment to invest in Ukraine.
