February Together With SkyUp: Trips From East to West and New Fares

09/ 03/ 2021
SkyUp Airlines says goodbye to cold weather and prepares for a new travel season. February was an active month for us: we opened even more directions both to the West and to the East, made fares even more convenient, but what remained unchanged: we were caring about the comfort and safety of passengers. Key facts in numbers According to the internal statistics of SkyUp Airlines*, in February we completed 64.3% of flights on time. Flight safety is our top priority, which is why sometimes it takes longer to get ready for a flight. But even when you have to wait, we always strive to make this time more comfortable for passengers. During the last month of winter, we performed 407 passenger flights. Among them, 307 are charter and 100 are regular. We carried 70,811 passengers, of which 56,938 were charter flights and 13,873 were regular flights. In addition, we transported 59,956 kg of cargo on passenger flights. New travel opportunities. Opening up the East In February, we announced 4 flights from Kyiv to Tashkent in March, opened a new direction Kyiv – Almaty – Kyiv, and significantly increased the number of flights to Tbilisi and Batumi, not only from Kyiv, but also from Zaporizhzha, Lviv, Odesa and Kharkiv. In addition, it will now be possible to get to Yerevan via SkyUp from two cities of Ukraine – Kyiv and Odesa. Even more European destinations In the last month of winter, we have announced several new flights to European countries. So, we plan to fly to Italian Bari and Bergamo from Kyiv and Lviv, German Hanover and Nuremberg from Kyiv, Polish Katowice and Lodz from Kyiv and Lviv, as well as to Marseille in France from the Ukrainian capital. Everyone goes to Odessa We have added domestic flights to international destinations from Odessa. Now, from Kharkiv, Lviv and Zaporizhzha, it will be possible to get to the seaside city in literally an hour. Convenient fares – pleasant travel At the end of winter, we updated our fares so that our passengers can choose exactly what they need and travel with pleasure. Among the advantages: more baggage, refund without fines, priority service, and special discounts on additional services. Find more information on fares in a special section on our website. Maximum safety SkyUp cares about the safety of passengers in everything. In February, the corporate university GROW UP underwent pre-medical training for the second group of flight attendants. 60 flight attendants completed a full 8-hour course with professional and certified instructors from the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Trainers taught cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adults, children and infants, assistance in case of suffocation, shock, stroke and other emergency situations. All participants received certificates that will be valid for the next 5 years. * Methodology for calculating statistics: we take into account flights from Ukrainian airports and to Ukrainian airports. From all these flights, we calculate those that were late more than 15 minutes, more than 30 minutes, more than one hour and canceled flights. The punctuality indicator is for those flights that took off with a delay of less than 15 minutes, which corresponds to world aviation standards.
