About the Programme

The modern civilized world is governed by the rule of law and lawyers are the closest representatives of the law. The main goal of legal professionals is to symbolize the legislation of the country and protect the interests of their clients.

EBA-Asters Legal Development Programme (EBA-Asters Legal School) is a new educational product aimed at forming fundamentally new legal skills both for lawyers practicing in the field of legal support and legal protection of business, as well as, for managers with appropriate education. The structure and content of the programme is primarily aimed at advancing knowledge of the professionals with full set of integrated legal skills, who practice in the field of law and are related to the functional part of the legislation.

• Practical aspects for preparing Dawn Raids Training in the context of inspections by market supervision, labor inspection, tax authorities acording to  the relevant judicial practice

Module 2. NABU work: the role of anti-corruption institutions in eradicating schemes that impede honest business – October 22 – Ivan Smely

• Company’s response to requests for investigations regarding the submission of documents
• Specificity of investigative actions by NABU detectives
• Probable risks of participation of companies in state tenders
• Behavior of the company in case of unlawful gain

Module 3. Using technology to monitor employees: on the fringes of the law – November 05 – Inesa Letych

• Video surveillance
• Monitoring of emails, social media
• Use of lie detector in terms of the law

Module 4. Law enforcement and business security in the new realities – November 19 – Sergiy Grebenyuk, Orest Stasiuk

• Changes in the law enforcement system – what businesses should expect from new leadership
• Analysis of the first cases of new teams in law enforcement agencies
• Rights of defense in course of searches, interrogations, seizures and other investigative activities
