This training was created specifically for newbies in commercial procurement, to provide them with the right orientation at the beginning of their professional journey in this field. For experienced buyers who want to improve their professional level, we will create a separate module on advanced procurement. Purpose of the training: To structure advice and practices regarding the construction of the procurement department, the implementation of the procurement function. To provide basic tools for the successful execution of procurement tasks and conducting transparent and efficient tenders. To increase interest in the buyer profession among those who are just mastering it. Show its true value and potential. And, what is very important, to teach you to enjoy your profession. Target audience: Specialists in commercial procurement, with 0-2 years of experience in this field (beginners). Purchasers in the organization, where a separate purchasing unit has not yet been created. Leaders of a newly formed procurement unit aiming to build a function from the ground up. Training Program: 1. Self-identification of the procurement function: The Golden Circle by Simon Sinek, or the search for our WHY. Procurement ecosystem: who interacts with us, what are their expectations? 2. The value of the procurement function for the organization: Defining and working with values. Practical exercise: Procurement skills 3. Procurement process: General framework of the procurement function: How to set up? Where to start? Interaction with initiators and their needs. Tendering from A to Z. Practical exercise: Tender case. 4. Relations with suppliers: Approaches to forming a circle of partners. Relationship management and assessment. About negotiations.
