About the Programme

EBA Compliance Department, Management Development Centre jointly with the International Compliance Association (ICA) and in partnership with Vasil Kisil and Partners are pleased to announce the launch of the ICA Advanced Certificate in Business Compliance in 2020. Presented for the first time in Ukraine the program will provide you with an opportunity to gain invaluable experience from respectful foreign trainers as well as to affirm your competence and knowledge as a highly qualified specialist in the field of business compliance.

The Advanced Certificate in Business Compliance has been designed:

Online Lecture: Compliance and risks of criminal prosecution for legal entities

On this Online Lecture participants of the programme will:

  • discuss the risks of applying criminal law measures to legal entities and the latest legislative changes to combat legalization of property, as well as the impact of compliance on the prevention and mitigation of such risks;
  • analyze the most real cases of application of such measures, possible ways of their detection and response;
  • consider the recent case law on the application of special confiscation to property of legal entities and its possible impact on compliance procedures.

Jonathan Bowdler
Head of Regulatory Compliance, responsible for all the ICA’s Compliance programmes, has 25 years of financial services industry experience, holds senior Compliance roles for the last fifteen of these, has a wealth of practical compliance experience, an MBA holder from Henley Business School and a Diploma in Management from Reading University, a highly qualified expert in business management and is therefore able to place governance, risk and compliance management within the context of wider corporate strategy, a fully qualified investment and mortgage advisor and is a member of several industry forums.
Rhodri Kettle
FICA, is the Senior Course Director in Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) at ICA, and develops and delivers GRC courses in the UK and internationally. Prior to joining ICA in 2013, Rhodri was a senior compliance manager in a large UK retail bank, working with business operations, senior management and other assurance functions on a wide range of compliance-related subjects, over the course of a career of over 25 years.
