In times of economic distress, small and medium enterprises appear to be the most vulnerable ones due to the lack of resources to mitigate the negative consequences. Yet, their survival is essential for the further recovery of the national economy as they create job opportunities, open new markets, and contribute to regional development. So now, it is crucial to address SME’s problems and guide them through a period of unprecedented uncertainty.
To remain productive during the lockdown, small businesses have to switch their activities to the online mode. As a part of EBA Doing Business Review, a project aimed at supporting SMEs, we will talk about the transition to remote work as a way for the business to avoid losses and increase sales. Our speakers will share their practical knowledge on:
- Five steps for the business to establish its e-commerce presence and get online sales
- Main challenges of becoming online. What slows down the transition to e-commerce?
- Experience of companies with successful transitions
This live meeting is scheduled for 13 of April, 16:00 and will be streamed via Zoom.us.
