The experts shared their experiences in implementing leadership development programs, emphasizing the importance of improving productivity, developing leadership qualities, and analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of managers.  Natalia Artsymovych discussed key mechanisms for motivating staff, particularly team leaders and senior managers. She stressed that motivation and retention are not just a set of tools, but a holistic system that helps employees see their potential and development paths. It’s important for everyone to have clear direction, as uncertainty about prospects can lead to disengagement,   During the meeting, three key modules of the leadership development program for team leaders were presented:  Leadership – strategic thinking and decision-making in complex situations.  Management Cycle & Time Management – optimizing management processes and developing delegation skills. Effective Communication – improving interaction between leaders and teams.  Particular attention was given to the leadership evaluation system, which includes the assessment of both hard and soft skills and the creation of personal profiles with five key competencies. This allows us to clearly see what needs to be developed in each employee, emphasized Natalia Artsymovych.  The discussion also covered important personnel management issues, such as combating demotivation and burnout, creating a positive corporate culture, and aligning company goals with employees’ personal goals.  Participants were introduced to the criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the program, which include workplace safety, work quality, the adaptation level of new employees, and the development of leadership competencies. The meeting took the form of a lively discussion, where participants shared practical cases and received valuable advice for improving management practices.  Thank you to the speakers and participants for their active engagement! We look forward to continuing the discussion on key staff development and management innovation topics at future EBA Odesa HR HUB meetings.
