EBA Career Day at IHU: First Steps Toward a Successful Professional Future

24/ 04/ 2025
On April 24, 2025, the International Humanitarian University hosted Career Day for students, organized by EBA Odesa.   The event was held as part of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the European Business Association and IHU. This initiative aims to foster career opportunities for students, establish effective interaction between the educational environment and business, and support youth in their integration into the labor market. Students from the faculties of Law and Economics, Linguistics and Translation, Medicine, and Cybersecurity participated in the event. The main goal of the event was to help future professionals better navigate the current job market, learn about current vacancies, employer expectations, and establish direct contact with representatives from leading companies in the region.   Kateryna Morozova, Head of the Southern Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. She emphasized that youth is an essential talent pool for business, as they bring fresh ideas, flexibility, creativity, and readiness for change. Today, companies actively support young specialists by offering internships, mentoring programs, and opportunities for rapid professional growth.   During the event, company representatives presented their businesses, discussed open vacancies, candidate requirements, and the formats of collaboration with students. The final part of the event was held in an informal communication format, which allowed participants to learn more about the specifics of various industries and take their first steps toward building their own careers.   We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Rector of the University, Kostiantyn Hromovenko, and the leadership for their openness to partnership and commitment to creating more opportunities for students. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the companies that participated in the event and shared their experience and opportunities: HR Agency Key People, Delta Wilmar Ukraine, Interlegal, ROSTDORSTROY, MSC Ukraine, Agenciya Bezpeki Centr, FS Group. We are confident that this Career Day was not only an informative but also an inspiring experience for many IHU students — an important step toward their professional development!
