CBRE Ukraine represents Grammarly in a lease agreement with Gulliver Business Center

14/ 02/ 2018
Kyiv, 12 February 2018 –  CBRE Ukraine, a leading commercial real estate firm in Ukraine, is pleased to announce that Grammarly has signed a lease agreement with Gulliver Business Center, an A class office property in Kyiv. CBRE Ukraine team, which was represented by Denys Sergiyenko, managed the transaction on behalf of Grammarly, a well-known AI-powered writing assistant that improves written communication in English. According to the lease agreement, Grammarly has relocated to BC Gulliver with future expansion plans. Denys Sergiyenko, Head of Corporate Services and Tenant Representation at CBRE Ukraine, commented: “Grammarly was a demanding client with high technical, legal, and commercial expectations for their new office space. After going through a long and thorough process of choosing the office space for expansion, Grammarly eventually chose Gulliver — one of the best business centers on the market. Grammarly’s choice highlights the professionalism and flexibility of Gulliver’s management team when negotiating the terms in a way that meets the tenant’s needs. It is a unique and iconic office space on the market, particularly due to its creative architecture and design. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Grammarly, being a consultant for their office space expansion scheme. I believe that working on this project allowed me to bring value to the success story of this Ukrainian start-up firm that became a global company and one of the strongest players in the sphere in less than 10 years. I am certain that Grammarly’s new central office location will help attract and retain the market’s high-quality experts, given Gulliver’s unique design, surrounding infrastructure and picturesque view of Kyiv.” We are very grateful to CBRE and Denis Sergiyenko in particular for his professionalism. Denis led this project throughout the year and was very devoted to all our requirements, even when they changed. We are also grateful that Denis represented our interests in negotiations with landlords and owners at a high level, commented Anna Bespala, Grammarly’s administrative manager. «We are pleased that the record-breaking Ukrainian start-up, Grammarly, made a preference towards multi-functionality. In a business center such as Gulliver, it is a pleasure to work, have business meetings, and spend free time. We were able to respond to the company’s demands and provide Grammarly with the comfortable, functional and independent space in which one can fully concentrate on the work and bring creative ideas to life.» - commented Iryna Kruppa, General Director of Multifunctional Complex Gulliver.   ABOUT COMPANY CBRE Group, Inc.
