Children of Heroes Charity Fund Marks Three Years of Impact

03/ 03/ 2025
Over the past three years, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund has become a steadfast support system for more than 12,000 children who have lost one or both parents due to the war. The war took their parents, destroyed their homes, and cast a shadow of grief over their childhoods. Yet, with the Fund’s support, these children have found the strength to keep going — to live, dream, and achieve. Key achievements over the past three years: 500,136,976 UAH (approximately USD 13 million) in financial aid provided. 3,628 gadgets were distributed to ensure access to remote education. 8,115 school supply kits and advent calendars were gifted. 21,030 psychological consultations were conducted for children and their guardians. 3,534 children and guardians were allowed to attend camps. 7,446 children were supported in learning foreign languages, working with tutors, and preparing for school. But the Fund’s mission doesn’t stop here. Its primary goal is to stand by these children until adulthood, guide them at every stage of their lives, and help them build a dignified future. Every child who has lost their loved ones to war deserves care, opportunities for growth, and the confidence to embrace tomorrow.
