04/ 11/ 2022
The SkyUp+UNITED24 aircraft was designed to achieve two major goals: to remind the whole world of the importance of supporting Ukraine, while making flights in Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as to help raise funds for tactical first-aid kits for Ukrainian defenders. SkyUp and Join UP! join the UNITED24 presidential initiative. SkyUp Airlines created branded livery for one of their planes with the UNITED24 inscription, and a QR code for a fundraiser towards procuring first aid kits. Passengers can learn more about the initiative in brochures placed on-board in the chair pockets. Today, during the war, our planes continue to operate abroad. As a Ukrainian airlines company, this is an opportunity for us to save our team and business, as well as to support the country with taxes. As Ukrainians, this is a chance for us to call on the international community to unite in support of Ukraine and other Ukrainians, who are now protecting both their future, and the democratic values of the whole world, said Dmytro Seroukhov, CEO of SkyUp Airlines. For travel agents who work together with the Ukrainian tour operator Join UP!, we have designed an option to transfer 1 euro from each booked tour to a charity fundraiser, at the clients request. Tourists who order Join UP!™ services online, will also be able to donate 1 euro when applying for a tour. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy constantly stresses the importance of information support for Ukraine, because the war has already been going on for 9 months, and gradually becoming white noise for many people worldwide.
