VAT payers are aimed to outline out the problematic issues regarding transfer pricing (TP), minimize risks and avoid litigation with the State Fiscal Service. The PwC experts decided to come to help them and share up to date information about the tendencies, theory and practice in the framework of Committee meeting on a topic ‘Transfer Pricing Inspections and Controversies – Forewarned is Forearmed.

Olga Trifonova, the Director and Head of the PwC TP Practice, started with the concrete figures. By this moment, there have been found more than 450 procedural violations of submitting the controlled operations report, carried out 20 inspections and directed about 200 enquiries concerning TP-documentation. The manufacturers of oil, agriculture, dairy, glass package etc. have become the main subjects to the SFS inspections for the period of 2016-2017.

Then, the relay race was taken by Dmytro Donets, the Director of the PwC Legal Tax Dispute Settlement Practice. He acquainted the participants with the reasons for TP-inspections, the procedure of their conduct and appellation.

Together, the specialists managed to cover the difficult topic of TP through real cases analysis and provided the attendees with the precious pieces of advice regarding effective strategy of defense.
