Grain and Oilseeds

  The representatives of the Grain and Oilseeds Committee participated in the the meeting of the working group on the Functioning of the Grain Market, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy, Ms Olena Kovaleva. During the meeting, participants discussed the expected grain production in 2019 year and the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and market participants - grain exporters for 2019/2020 MP. In addition, the heads of the Department of Phytosanitary Safety of the State Consumer Service - Mr Andriy Chelombitko and Mr Vadym Chaikovsky joined the working group, with whom participants discussed issues related to the draft resolution CMU “Some Issues of Implementation of the Law of Ukraine“ On Quarantine of Plants ”. The draft resolution should be adopted to launch the market of private phytosanitary laboratories. As well as support for Ukrainian grain exports to China and Indonesia.
