Dnipro Marketing & Communications

17/ 10/ 2018
EBA Dnipro Marketing & Communications Committee, along with Nikita Polyak, djital marketing specialist and Marketorium Company founder, held a seminar on Email Marketing as a way to improve the effectiveness of web sites. We talked about the basic principles of communication with potential customers; e-mailing and how to do it right; which triggers we should use to have our mails opened. We discussed what exactly affects the conversion rate and how to deal with GDPR. In addition, Nikita and our guests considered some failures examples to understand what they should not do. To improve the efficiency of the web sites, Nikita recommended to pay particular attention to the following: Web site landing page (the first page of the site) should be simple and understandable to your potential customers. It can help site visitors quickly navigate in the new space and make a decision on further purchase, so the conversion rate will increase; Recent studies have shown, the more clearly Unsubscribe button is placed in emails, the fewer refusals you get. In general, one should not be afraid of mailing refusals. Much more important is the quality of an audience that is set to buy your products or services; The mailing databases should be constantly cleaned and updated. According to statistics, 20% of email addresses die annually. Using mailing lists of purchased databases is very damaging to reputation of the company and can be considered by the customers as disrespect for their personal data. Among the most active participants of the event, 3 certificates were issued for a sum of 5 000 UAH each, for Marketorium services. We are grateful to Nikita Polyak for such an up-to-date content and easy submission of the material! We thank Olga Zenina, the Chair of Marketing and Communications Committee in Dnipro, for her organizational support and inspiration. We thank to our regular partners - the Ukrainian Coffee Company UCC and Parle Conference Center for their hospitality.
