Meeting regarding EuropeanHUB

30/ 01/ 2025
On January 10, an informal meeting was held in Kyiv with representatives of civil society organizations to discuss the development of the EuropeanHUB – a space for coordinating efforts toward Ukraine’s European integration. The event was co-organized by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine and East Europe Foundation. During the meeting, participants discussed the tasks and challenges faced by the government and non-governmental sector, as well as the future activities of the Eurohub. In nine months of operation at EuropeanHUB, nearly 90 events took place, including preparations for screening sessions and the screening meetings between Ukraine and the EU, meetings to develop roadmaps, consultations with a wide range of stakeholders, trainings, and workshops to enhance expertise. As noted by Vera Nedzvedska, Vice President for Strategic Partnerships at East Europe Foundation, Ukraine still has a lot of work ahead on the path to European integration. “The Eurohub is a platform where people from various sectors, including CSOs, government bodies, and international partners, come together in-person and virtually. Though our path towards European integration remains long and full of challenges, we are steadfast in our ability to collaborate, seek solutions, and pursue reforms and transformations – often hard, yet indispensable,” Vira Nedzvedska remarked.
