The President signs draft law №4303 on Diia.city This week, draft law №4303 On Stimulating the Development of the Digital Economy in Ukraine was finally adopted. Thus, the draft law was signed by the President. This is quite a significant event for the entire IT industry because for two years we have been actively revising the concept to make it a promising and useful project. Fortunately, the lions share of amendments from the industry players was taken into account in the signed Law. We are currently focusing on revising another crucial part of Diia.City concept, namely its tax component envisaged in draft law №5376. The Government is launching an experiment of digitalizing licensing procedures  On August 11, at a regular meeting of the Government, it was decided to launch a pilot project E-permit, which provides for the possibility to obtain 13 most popular business licenses by submitting an online application through Diia portal. The project envisages the digitization of the full cycle of licensing procedures and automatic issuance of licenses without additional checks of documents upon application. At the same time, entrepreneurs retain the right to submit documents in paper form. The experiment will run from November 1, 2021, to October 31, 2023. After its completion, it is planned to submit to the Verkhovna Rada a respective draft law to simplify the conditions for issuing licenses. The European Business Association is grateful for the taken decisions as they make life easier for business!
