Aequo Lawyers Contributed to Doing Business 2018 Report

The report was launched with great success and extensive media coverage. According to the Ease of Doing Business ranking, Ukraine once again strengthened its position and moved up to 76th from 80th in 2017 and 83rd in 2016. Doing Business 2018: Reforming to Create Jobs, a World Bank Group flagship publication, is the 15th in a series of annual reports measuring the regulations that enhance business activity and those that constrain it. Doing Business presents quantitative indicators on business regulations and the protection of property rights that can be compared across 190 economies and over time. By gathering and analyzing comprehensive quantitative data to compare business regulation environments across economies and over time, Doing Business encourages economies to compete towards more efficient regulation; offers measurable benchmarks for reform; and serves as a resource for academics, journalists, private sector researchers and others interested in the business climate of each economy.
