  “Svitlana has been with us for four years. She, together with her team, has built the renewable energy, construction and real estate practices into one of the strongest in the market”, Managing Partner Olexiy Soshenko said. “She has been actively involved in various business development activities making Redcliffe Partners more visible in all of those sectors.” During that period, Redcliffes team has worked on a number of prominent transactions in the region, including the project financings of the 250 MW Syvash wind power project, and the construction of a new private grain terminal in Ukraine’s Black Sea commercial port, Yuzhny. Svitlana has more than 15 years of practical experience, supporting clients in local and cross-border transactions, as well as providing expert advice for business and industry associations in regard to the reforms in the energy and construction sectors, and on the implementation of the Third Energy Package in Ukraine. She is also one of the very few lawyers in Ukraine particularly experienced with the forms of construction contracts of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), which are increasingly being used in international construction projects in Ukraine, and is an author of numerous publications on the topic. Svitlana is a member of the National Commission on Environment and Energy of the International Chamber of Commerce and a mediator of the Dispute and Negotiation Centre of the Energy Community Secretariat. She is a member of the supervisory board of the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine and regularly contributes to the activities of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association. She also served as a member of the Board of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency. Svitlana has a PhD degree in law from the Taras Shevchenko National University, and has successfully completed the courses of the Florence School of Regulation titled Regulation of the Power Sector and Trans-European Energy Networks Regulation, enabling her to provide profound and industry-focused advice to clients. Svitlana is featured amongst notable practitioners for both Energy & Natural Resources and Real Estate, Construction, Land in Ukrainian Law Firms. A Handbook for Foreign Clients 2020. She is also recommended in Real Estate in Whos Who Legal 2020.
