HER STORY in Odesa: Women who change the country

We spent the last day of summer with the project Her story: Women who change the country by the EBA Womens Club in sunny, bright and friendly Odesa. We would like to thank for frank and open-minded atmosphere our invited speakers: Oksana Syroyid, Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine and Cristina Doros, Sr. Director, Head of Core Products, CIS & SEE, Visa and moderator of the event Dmytro Krepak, CEO Visa Ukraine. During the dialog we touched upon a lot about parenting, education, key factors and occasions that have had a huge impact on our guests lives and successful careers. Oksana Syroyid shared that parents gave her good upbringing and outstanding confidence, that she can do everything because if that. But life philosophy was inherited from her Grandmother: not to take offense, never slander and say lies. Ms Syroyid considers leadership as a huge responsibility, and the ability to prove your point . And she knows the secret of womens power Every woman is a Wonder Woman if she is happy. To love yourself, everyone around and your lifestyle - brings a lot of power. Superpower is in love!. The key person who made a great impact on Cristina Doros career was her father, who taught her main life rules, and one of them was always to be yourself. For this reason, she became a successful economist and leader of a big team. By the way, Cristina considers leadership as a responsibility of a huge scale, care and helping people. She is sure that there are all conditions in Ukraine for career development both for men and women. Success depends upon a team. Indeed, support of relatives and friends is extremely important. Our speakers had a lot of common views, like values and philosophy of working relations. Above all are trust and respect. Also, our speakers were saying in one voice that first of all the level of education must be raised in Ukraine, because coming generations are our future.
