European Business Association appeals to the authorities to restore dialogue on the booking process

11/ 11/ 2024
Ensuring a functioning economy is critical to the resilience of society and the defence capabilities of the country. In this context, it is important to maintain a balance between the mobilisation processes and the preservation of economic activity within the country. To this end, the business community believes that the employee booking procedure needs to be improved. The business community is convinced that there must be an ongoing dialogue between government bodies and businesses regarding the booking procedure, which should ensure predictability and transparency, while also reducing the potential for abuse by the relevant authorities. In light of this, the European Business Association has appealed to the responsible authorities to organise a meeting with representatives of the Association and all stakeholders involved in the process to discuss the status and results of the audit regarding the designation of critical enterprises. The open letter from the European Business Association is addressed to the Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, and the Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, Natalia Kalmykova. OPEN LETTER We hope for the restoration of dialogue on the booking procedure!
