The European Business Association has published a White Paper on the Recovery of Ukraine

05/ 12/ 2022
Within the Recovery Ukraine Committee, the EBA experts have prepared a White Paper with the proposals of the business community to restore the economy and improve the business climate in the country. The White Paper consists of several sections on different industries and areas within the EBA competence and contains proposals for the development of the state and improvement of business conditions. The White Paper covers the EBA proposals in a range of areas, including construction, logistics, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, mining, intellectual property, licensing, etc. In this strategic document, the business community paid due attention to socially important areas such as healthcare, labor resources, pension reform, equal opportunities policy, energy efficiency, ecology, and consumer protection. Also, customs, tax, finances, etc are highlighted as important issues for business. This strategic document was forwarded to the heads of the Government, the Parliament, and the Office of the President of Ukraine, as well as to the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine because the implementation of a significant part of the proposals is necessary, among other things, to fulfill the eurointegration obligations for full membership in the European Union.  Therefore, we hope that the proposals submitted by the EBA will be taken into account by the state leadership in making further decisions on the recovery of Ukraine and the implementation of necessary reforms and transformations. The business community is convinced that the consideration of our proposals will allow Ukraine not only to rebuild the economy but also to create favorable conditions for attracting the necessary investments, which will be a prerequisite for economic growth and improvement of living and working conditions in Ukraine.
