Listen to online Stop   The EBA Southern Ukrainian Office and Chairmen of the EBA Odesa Committees visited an Agrofusion plant, a vertically integrated group of companies that cultivates and processes tomatoes in the South of Ukraine, in the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. Ivan Zaikin, Director of the North Plant, conducted an interesting excursion, showed the production capacities and basic principles of the plant operation. The final product is high-quality tomato paste TM Inagro which is produced in two types of density and is used as a basis for the manufacture of juices, ketchups, etc. by Ukrainian and world producers. Ivan Sakal, Agrofusion Financial Director and the Chairmen of the EBA Odesa Agricultural Working Group, and Olha Zhukova, Head of the Financial Management of the Company, described in more details the group of companies, which currently employs 2,300 employees. In 2016, 204 million hryvnias of taxes were paid by Agrofusion enterprises to the budgets of all levels, and the plan for 2017 is 338.5 million hryvnias. Also, Agrofusion launched the third Eastern plant, which created 240 additional jobs. The total cost of the investment project is 900 million hryvnias. Together with the new plant, the Companys production capacity will increase to 750 thousand tons of tomatoes per season.
