Contribution to education. EPAM Ukraine has handed more than 1,000 pieces of equipment over to educational institutions

07/ 02/ 2025
Over 20 years of work in Ukraine, EPAM has supported dozens of higher education institutions, schools, lyceums, etc. In addition to reviewing and updating STEM programs and creating its own educational projects, the company invests in the material and technical base. As a result of this there are well-equipped laboratories appearing in universities, safe learning spaces created, and high-quality equipment is received for the needs of students and teachers. In 2024, the EPAM Ukraine team handed more than 1,000 units of equipment over to educational institutions. The company, a leader in the Ukrainian IT market, sent the necessary equipment for studying and teaching to partner educational institutions all across the country. The equipment was received by educational institutions in Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Odessa, Vinnytsia and Zabolotne (Vinnytsia region), Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Uzhhorod. Altogether, there were system units, monitors, and laptops handed over to educational institutions. This equipment was used to equip educational laboratories and departments. In Kharkiv, in particular, in KhNURE, the focus was on creating safe shelters where one can study offline. “There are 19 educational institutions that received equipment from EPAM Ukraine. Most of them are universities. “This equipment will be available to over 22,000 students and hundreds of teachers across Ukraine. We believe that the opportunity to study offline is very important. Especially since over the past five years, first due to the pandemic, and then due to the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian youth had these opportunities limited,” notes Denys Hrynyov, head of educational programs at EPAM Ukraine. “Offline learning is not only about greater efficiency (although we know from our own experience that direct contact between a teacher and a student brings results faster). It is also about developing flexible skills, improving interaction and teamwork. All this is very useful for a young specialist.” In 2025, the EPAM Ukraine team will hand over more equipment. The focus is going to be on territories suffering from full-scale invasion and locations where large numbers of students are concentrated.
