Compensation for deposits in bankrupt banks through Diya

09/ 01/ 2024
Most recently, Diya, in cooperation with the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund, launched a new service that made it possible to apply for a refund of your deposit. It is noted that 1.4 million deposits for a total amount of UAH 3.2 billion are subject to reimbursement. Therefore, the depositor now does not need to visit the branch of the Funds agent banks, rejecting the bureaucratic procedure. It should be noted that in April of last year the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law according to which 100% of all deposits are subject to reimbursement. So, if you had a deposit in a bankrupt bank, you should perform the following actions: Open Deposit Returns in the Deposits section. Select a bankrupt bank. If the deposits were in several bankrupt banks, several separate applications must be submitted. Mark your eSupport card. Such a card must be opened at one of the Funds partner banks (Privat, PUIB, Universal Bank/Monobank, etc.). Clarify contact data and sign the application Action. Signature Regarding terms: the application is sent to the specified bank and is verified within 3 days in automatic mode. Today, depositors have 3 options for receiving funds from the Deposit Guarantee Fund. The first is to come to the branch of the Funds partner bank. The second is to use the remote online payment tool offered by 5 Fund agent banks. And finally, the last one - through Diya - use the Deposit Return service. It is obvious that it is most convenient to apply through Diya and you do not need to stand in queues once more, receiving a bunch of paper documents.
