07/ 07/ 2023
On July 5, 2023, an extended meeting of the EBA Odesa Coordinating Council (RCC) with the participation of the Committees’ Heads was held. This time meeting was in the office of the EBA member company Inter Trans Logistic (ITL). Thus, at the beginning of the meeting, Kateryna Morozova, the Head of the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office informed the RCC members about the Office activity’ results in the first half of 2023, and also shared the latest developments and achievements. First of all, attention was paid to the discussion of collective lobbying and protection of the interests of EBA member companies. In particular, in the first half of 2023, we considered both collective and individual cases. Totally, we had 5 individual initiatives in the work, all of them were successfully resolved. Also, 2 collective cases are currently being processed, which urgently show the current problems of law-making activity, so the Southern Ukrainian Office is making maximum efforts to solve these cases and close the gaps in the legislation. Another important topic of the RCC meeting was the events held in various formats: meetings with the authorities, B2B, B2G, committees, educational and socials. Finally, since the beginning of the year, the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office has organized more than 20 events. And among the new projects we should note: EBA Expert Talks on the topic Danube - logistics in a new way; BUSINESS FORUM: Taxes. Banks. Relocation. Marshall Plan; Joint meeting of the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office and the EBA Ukraine Recovery Committee with the leadership of Kherson Regional Military Administration and Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, etc. During the RCC meeting, a special attention was paid to the discussion of ideas for the development of the Southern Ukrainian region and further plans of Office. We sincerely thank Yaroslav Gayvoronsky, Head of the EBA Odesa Transport Working Group, CEO ITL for the hospitality! Special thanks to all participants for the passionate discussion of urgent business issues. Lets unite because joint effort contributes to the development and restoration of our region!
